LESSONS for the year

It was a long exhausting year in our Computer Class; nonetheless, I have learned variety of things. Thanks to our teacher: Ms. Ernelyn Pasigna. *claps

THE FIRST QUARTER

We learned for the first time the beauty of HTML. Everyone in our class hated it but still it was helpful and kind of fun. We learned the history of HTML. Because of that almost everyone hated Tim Berners Lee. I had pity on him, so I didn't really hated him. We learned how to make web pages and also a website on geocities.com. Aside from that we knew how to beautify, design, and make the page as friendly as possible.

THE SECOND QUARTER

On the beginning of the second quarter we discussed on flowcharts and algorithms to prepare us for Dev C. Again, we hated this too. It required logic and so much analysis and we hate making our brains think to hard.

THE THIRD QUARTER

This is the quarter that I most like. We learned in navigating the Dev C. A very fun lesson, indeed. Right guys? It was a very long road but an interesting one. I may not know until now what is it for and how it will help us in the future but I am guessing it is to help us in programming.

THE FOURTH QUARTER

In the last quarter we ended our Computer class and began our Practical Arts class. Believe me, its the worst. First we have to make this Picture Frame, I didn't like it but still it was worth it. Then, we have to make a Valentines Art. I liked this one because I did not give much effort into making this. Then again, we made another handicraft----the butterflies. I hated this one much as I have hated the other handicrafts. It was hard and I don't have talent for this. Lastly, still under construction, the ARTIFICIAL ORCHID. This one is pretty much harder. I have waste a lot of wires and crepe paper for this. I hope I am going to do this just fine.

ARTIFICAL damn ORCHIDS

My artificial butterfly has still a long way to go.
It's still under construction and it's due on Wednesday.
Oh, help me God.

I must say the most difficult part in making the artificial orchid is covering the wire with crepe paper. I already know the technique so that I can do the covering fast but still sometimes it doesn't work. This is the first step in making the orchid so without it I can't continue. This is definitely the hardest part.

I learned perseverance, patience and practicality. These three things for me are the things I leaned when I made the different handicrafts. With this qualities you can definitely finish your handicraft fast and beautiful.

BUY ONE FREE TEDDY. ( I think if there is no free no one will buy it.)

MUVEE MUCHIKITO

I love the movies. I watch everything that interests me. With the hundreds of movie I had seen, the movie that I really like is LIFE AS A HOUSE. This movie for me is the best inspirational flick.

The part in the movie that really struck me is when Hayden knew that his father had cancer and was dying. When he knew this he completely changed. This part of the movie also served as one of the climax since this is where you can find the tension. There are many good parts in this movie, that's why I say this movie is just great.

BUTTERFLIES--abnormal version

*only a substitute

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT I LEARNED IN MAKING THE BUTTERFLIES IS----nothing. Just kidding. I learned that I will never make another butterfly again because this is not my thing. Just look at my butterflies, it looks like an I-D-K. Nonetheless I learned how to be practical in some ways and most importantly how to have a schedule. I don't want to emphasize on that no more.

Through the artificial butterflies we students and teenagers are taught to be practical. Due to the world's condition we have to be practical. In the making of the artificial butterflies we learn to use raw materials to come up with a good finished product. Secondly, we learn to be patient and hardworking. It shows, right? Lastly, we learn how to be ORIGINAL. I know that some reached a point wherein they wanted to buy a ready made product instead. Be honest classmates. Am I right? But still we didn't because we want to be original as possible.

If I was to sell my product. Here's how it would go:

NOTE: I will be singing this. LOL.

ATTENTION ATTENTION. MAY I HAVE ALL YOUR EYES AND EARS TO THE FRONT OF THE ROOM. IF ONLY, IF ONLY, FOR ONE SECOND.

WILL YOU HERE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY? OH, DID I MENTION MY BUTTERFLIES (abnormal version)? IT LOOKS SO WEIRD YOU CAN GIVE SOMEONE A HEART ATTACK. AND OH, IT'S SO ORIGINAL YOU CANNOT FIND ANYTHING IDENTICAL TO MINE IN OTHER STORES. LASTLY, JUST BUY ONE NOW IT'S UNLIMITED.

Family Day Bonanza

Last February 24, 2007, the Ateneo De Zamboanga University celebrated their Family Day on the William Kreutz Campus with a theme "Families Celebrating a Tradition of Companionship".

The Family Day started with a motorcade from the La Purisima Campus to the High school campus. There were only a few who joined the motorcade since it was raining that time. After the motorcade a mass was held on the high school lobby and also the registration for year levels. The blessing of the covered walk and the "imahen" followed after. Then the activities and games were held. There were many activities prepared for the event like the raffle and there were also games that everyone surely enjoyed.

It was another day of bonding and another day of happiness for the families. It was indeed a successful program. It was the second time wherein the Family Day was celebrated in the Tumaga campus.

The day ended with a stupendous fireworks at around 10:30 pm. The fireworks was held earlier because of the rain. Every family enjoyed their time together. It was a great night for everyone who attended.

Picture Frame Art

*not the real one

PICTURE FRAME reflection.

How did I feel about making the picture frame?
I felt mad and badly exhausted. IDK, but I always hated handicraft making. Well technically I don't. But, the idea of thinking what would your project look like? and How would I design it? Yeah, that bothers me. I hate making my brain think too hard. You see. Well, still the project was fun. And, I am pretty much happy that I finish the picture frame. Still, I cannot believe I slept 11:57 exactly for that.

I can say mine was original. *laughs. Not really that 'original'. But, I made it. I think, that made the difference. Right? What else. Mine was made from cartolina, cardboard and gluegun. Yeah, and those from the department stores were made from plastic and has really cool and durable designs. It also made a difference. It was just simple. It is sky blue with little hearts drawn on it.
